Welcome to Bistro ’t Gerecht, You will find our restaurant in one of the oldest streets of Groningen, the Oude Boteringstraat. Bistro ‘t Gerecht is the perfect place to enjoy a Parisian bistro atmposhere, neat with linen covered tables, oak paneling and chandeliers. On sunny summer evenings you can also have dinner on our courtyard terrace.

Bistro ’t Gerecht takes its name not only from the delicious dishes, ‘gerechten’ in Dutch, but also from the old courthouse located in front of the restaurant. The logo of the restaurant also connects to the courthouse, portraying the image of Lady Justice.

Our contemporary French Mediterranean cuisine under the direction of Gerlof Castelein is seasonal based, with an emphasis on elegant salads, fresh fish, the best steak and chips in the city and fresh lobster from the lobster tank. The menu is changed regularly to include the best products the market has to offer.
