The kitchen of Bistro 't Gerecht has been led by Gerlof Castelein since 2007. Before Gerlof came to us he has gained experience working in a number of reputable restaurants in the Netherlands.

Gerlof is partly responsible for achieving the Bib Gourmand which we received in 2009. A Bib Gourmand is awarded to restaurants that offer a quality menu for less than 35 euros.

Dishes from the kitchen made by Gerlof Castelein and his team are characterized by a rich flavor and fresh ingredients. All dishes are prepared entirely by our own kitchen. This allows us to guarantee the quality and taste of the dishes. Our cuisine prefers to use regional products like our steak of Frisian Beef.
